Make a Donation to Help Haiti Earthquake Victims Now
Donations can be made in confidence to LCIF, as 100 percent of every donation will directly to Haiti relief, as administrative costs are paid by interest earned on investments. LCIF just recently received a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, the highest rating possible from the independent charity evaluator. In 2007 LCIF was named the #1 non-governmental organization with which to partner, a title our Foundation still holds today.

Lions Club member system delivers the gift of sight

A kind of modern-day Pony Express runs throughout the state of Wisconsin.

The Lions Eye Bank recovers, processes and distributes eye tissue to cornea transplant surgeons, researchers and educators. Once tissue is processed at the eye bank, it is sent across the U.S. and also internationally, though "the priority of tissue recipients are those in Wisconsin," said Joyce Kratz, technical manager at the eye bank.

It's also the only eye bank in the United States that relies on an all-volunteer force of Lions Club transporters to both deliver and later pick-up the processed tissue for delivery to the surgery or research center, ...
