1. Mail Carrier's Food Drive

1-7 pm; shifts from 1-4 and 3-7
Help Letter Carriers take donated food from vehicles and put into bins at Madison area postal stations

2. Fiskars Project Orange Thumb Blackhawk Middle School Garden Installation
Thursday, May 26
7 am - 4 pm
Help CAC, Fiskars Brands, Home Depot, and Blackhawk Middle School install a school and community garden in one day.

3. Dane County Farmer's Market Produce Collection (Group Activity - 8-12 persons)
Saturdays, May 22 - November 5
11:45 am - 1:15
Pick one or multiple Saturdays during the market season and help CAC collect up to 2,000 lbs of donations from market vendors.

4. Food Sorting
M-F 8-4:30
May 20 - throughout the summer
Small or large group activity. Help sort donated food for distribution to food pantries.

5. CAC Gleaners Route Driver
Time and Day depend on route
Pick up food at an area vendor and take it to a food pantry or community meal site. Requires a regular weekly commitment of about 1 hour.

6. Food Pantry Gardens
Days and Times vary
CAC will help match you to a food pantry garden in your area where you can help grow and harvest produce for donation to area food pantries.

7. CAC Clothing Center
M-F, anytime 9 - 3; Clothing Center hours T-F, 10 - 3
Help sort and hang donated clothing and be available to assist participant shoppers

8. Koats for Kids
September for prep, October event dates to be determined (approx. 4 days incl. weekend)
Help sort and hang donated coats and help distribute coats at the event

9. United Way of Dane County Days of Caring
August 23 and 24
Help CAC spruce up the place with anything from painting to light landscaping

10. CAC Family Development Back To School event (in partnership with East & West Towne Malls)

Help sort and package donated clothing and other school items for distribution
